Dine & Learn with the ici®
Dine at Bistro, Gourmet Dinners, and other Special Events where ici® students gain real-world experience. Indulge in a gourmet dining experience at the ici® Bistro or explore our enticing Gourmet Dinner Series. Attend culinary workshops to enhance your skills.
Bistro
Come to the ici® Bistro to enjoy a gourmet lunch experience during the Fall and Spring semesters. We offer classic bistro fare from around the globe, curated and executed by our Bistro students and staff. Reservations are required and first come, first served.
Gourmet Dinners
Our dinners are intended to introduce our culinary students to ethnic ingredients, spices, and products, while designing meals for the American palate. These are elegant evenings of candlelight, soft live music (flute and classical guitar), and gourmet food paired with fine wines.
ici® Dinner Series
You're invited to enjoy the Iowa Culinary Institute (ici®) Dinner Series with Chef Katie and Chef Jake Kim. Chef Katie Van Dyke's unique and creative menus are designed to feature the most fresh and seasonal ingredients and Chef Jake Kim’s contemporary cuisine is heavily influenced by his international experience.
