Assessment Commission
The Assessment Commission supports the continuous improvement of teaching and learning at DMACC. The Commission is responsible for promoting best practices, providing meaningful reports on student learning outcomes, and recommending improvements to curriculum and instruction. The Commission was established to ensure that assessment at DMACC is faculty-driven and learner-centered.
Responsibilities
The Assessment Commission works on the following:
- Assessment design
- Research-based best practices
- Alignment with learning outcomes
- DMACC’s Essential Learning Outcomes
- Assessment data collection and reporting
- Application of technology to support assessment
- Institutional policies and procedures related to assessment
