DMACC’s Office of Student Access & Success exists to help make sure all students feel that way.  We serve as a resource and advocate for students, faculty, and staff to ensure all students can succeed at DMACC. In short, by collaborating with our DMACC colleagues, we help DMACC provide students with the B.E.A.R. necessities:

Belonging: Building an inclusive and welcoming campus community where each student feels valued, respected, affirmed, and connected to their peers, their campus, and DMACC, through such efforts as:

Education & Engagement: Providing opportunities for students to learn and explore identities and develop and practice using skills needed to navigate an increasingly diverse DMACC, workforce, and world through:

  • Workshops and training
  • Dialogue groups
  • Lunch & learns
  • Skill building and practice
  • Peer education

Access & Recruitment: Monitoring recruitment and enrollment trends so that the range of DMACC students and campuses are represented in areas like:
