Shared Governance
College Council
The College Council is a representative body of faculty, staff, and students tasked with helping to facilitate shared governance at DMACC. Its primary functions are to provide feedback and input on college policies, procedures, and initiatives, to bring faculty, staff, and student ideas and concerns to the attention of DMACC's administration, and to facilitate clear, open, and transparent communication across our college community.
Please see the College Council's charter for more information. The current charter is provisional and will be finalized in early 2024.

The SAC plans a variety of activities and offers a wide-range of services designed to enhance campus life.
The Marketing and Management Department has three seats on the Council and students are elected by major to represent the department. Students can participate in leadership activities and conferences as well as hold officer positions.
The Student Activities Council offers activities and services in three areas: campus life, professional development, and programming.
