DMACC's academic schedule includes three terms each year. Our Fall Term usually starts in late August and concludes in mid-December; our Spring Term begins in early January and runs until early May; and our Summer Term is usually held from late May through early August. Some of our programs allow you to start classes any term; other programs limit students to starting in a particular term.
Many DMACC classes are offered both days and evenings. Advisors are a good source of when classes are available and what majors can be completed at night.
Yes, you can transfer classes to DMACC from other accredited colleges. In order to do this, you must first apply to DMACC for a particular major or program of study. You then must have your official transcripts sent from each previous college attended. Upon receiving your application and transcripts, our Credentials Office will review your transcripts and send you a credit transfer evaluation. This evaluation will detail which classes transfer to DMACC as well as how they transfer (the DMACC course equivalent for your transfer class).
