Two Class Types:

  • Instructor-Moderated 6-week courses
    • Available 24/7. No set class day or time
    • 2 lessons released each week (4 hours per week of work)
    • Written online discussion board with instructor and participants
  • Self-Guided 3-Month Course
    • Available 24/7
    • NO discussion with instructor or participants

If final test score on 1st attempt is 70% or better, student prints certificate.

Computer Basics

  • Intro to Computers
    Aimed at those with little computer experience or​ knowledge.
    Welcome to C​omputer Basics
  • Learning about Windows and the Internet has never been easier! This hands-on computer course is for those who have limited or no knowledge or experience in computers and who want to learn how to use them. There are no tests or quizzes. You'll learn how and where to save files, create folders, work with the Start menu and control panel, and use the task bar. You will also be introduced to the Internet and will learn how to take advantage of what it has to offer.​

  • Basic Workplace Computer Skills
    Almost every job in today’s workplace requires basic computer skills.  Through hands-on, instructor-led training, you will gain basic level computer proficiencies in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Employers are seeking employees who can effectively send emails, create spreadsheets, manage databases, create visual presentations and recognize the importance of computer security and privacy.  This course will provide students the foundation for basic computer skills that are increasingly important in today’s workplace.

Tuition includes all textbooks and materials.  Prerequisite:  must be able to type fluently.
