2024 Student Holiday Assistance Nomination
To assist the Pioneers in selecting deserving student nominees, a detailed description is needed stating why the student is in need of or eligible to receive a holiday gift card.
Students from all DMACC campuses and centers are eligible to be nominated. However, students may not self-nominate. Nominations must be submitted by a DMACC faculty or staff member.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, November 11 at 4:00 PM. No nominations will be accepted or considered after the deadline. A maximum of 60 holiday gift cards will be awarded for 2024.
Student Holiday Assistance NominationWelcome DMACC Pioneers
Established in 1994, the DMACC Pioneers are a group of retired and former DMACC faculty and staff who provide continued service to the College through their time, talent and resources. Pioneer members reconnect with former colleagues, remain informed on developments at DMACC, participate in DMACC activities and monthly programs, and support scholarships fundraising activities through the DMACC Foundation. All former DMACC employees are welcome and invited to join our efforts!

DMACC in the '60s - This classroom was in DMACC's very first location. The space had been a grocery store
before we inhabited it, and today it is home to the Iowa Christian Academy. The instructor
of this class was True Sherman. True was in attendance as we unveiled a plaque at
this location to commemorate our beginning during DMACC's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
