Do More with your Certificate!
Did you know that once you earn your certificate, you are eligible to apply to the TSA Associates Expansion Degree Program? The Associates Program (AP) aims to attract and retain employees by creating educational opportunities for career advancement and upward mobility, thereby enhancing the professionalism of the workforce. Since the spring of 2018, over 2,600 employees have earned their TSA Certificate of Achievement in Homeland Security, with more than 6,200 participating in the program.
Training and Development (TD) will fund a second cohort starting in fall 2024. Certificate holders who meet the specified criteria are now eligible to apply for the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Criminal Justice Program at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC). TSA will cover the cost of tuition and books for all necessary courses to complete the degree.
Application Qualification Criteria
